Terms to Know
Early Registration
Early Registration periods are indicated on the Academic Calendar. Students should be prepared to register during this period in order to have a wider selection of courses and times. After the early registration period has ended, any early registrants wishing to make changes to their schedule must wait until the add/drop period.
Late Registration
Late Registration periods are indicated on the Academic Calendar. Late registration occurs after the early registration period has ended. Students registering during this period will be charged a $30 late registration fee.

Prerequisites
Prerequisites are specified requirements that must be met before students may enroll in a course. Specific prerequisites are listed in course listings.
Co-requisites
A co-requisite is a course which must be taken together with another course during the same enrollment period or session. Specific co-requisites are listed in course listings.
Petition
Certain courses will require a student to receive a granted petition in order to register for the course. Students should contact the appropriate academic department for the petition.
