The URL is http://myutb.blackboard.com or go to the UTB home page http://www.utb.edu click on "Quick Links" and then click on the Blackboard icon to access the portal.

How can I access my courses?

First login to Blackboard and then check on the My Courses module. This module lists all the current courses you are taking during the semester. Click on the course that you will like to access and explore the course content through it's menu.

how can i get an email account?

To obtain an e-mail account, please to go http://myutb.blackboard.com and apply online for the account. Click on the Get My Free UTB EPASS e-mail link within the online portal. Once you have submitted your application, your account will be processed within your online portal.

how long does the process take to create my email account?

E-mail accounts are usually created within 24 hours (this may vary depending on the amount of applications being submitted at the start of each semester).

i need my password for my email.

Your e-mail password is the same as your UTB Online password. If you have any problems in logging in to your account, pleace call (956) 882-HELP. If you are a new user or you need to reset your password, create a new profile at https://selfservice.utb.edu/.

how can i get access to utb's wireless internet?

Go to Libertad website: http://blue.utb.edu/libertad/. Click on Account Management which can be found under Online only. Click on My Wireless Account and fill out the Account Information. The process time takes at least 15 to 20 minutes.

do i need to change any settings on my laptop or computer to access libertad?

You will need to configure your electronic device by going to the Libertad Wireless page. Once you are logged in My Wireless Account, submit your MAC address from your device. If you have any problems or questions, please contact the Help Desk at 956-882-HELP.
