Pre-requisites: None
Microsoft Office PC Literacy
- Log on and off the computer
- Power on and off the computer
- Open and close applications
- Open, save and close files
- Print documents
- Identify parts of a computer
- Use input device (e.g., mouse)
- Move cursor
- Use special function keys (Delete, Shift, Arrow keys, space, Return/enter)
- Save the same file in various formats
- Rename files
- Delete files
- Creat folders
- Multitask by using Task Bar and or minimize/maximize comand or icon
- Use Specific function keys (Page up/down, Home/End)
- Trobleshoot using the Help button
- Save a compressed file (.zip)
If you need additional assistance, tutoring will be available Monday-Thursday between the hours of 4:00pm-5:00pm. Sign-up sheet is available on the UT-Brownsville web page. Students are required to sign-up for the tutorial sessions at least 24 hours in advance. Thank you!
