New RefWorks Interface

RefWorks has recently launched their new 2.0 interface and UTB Libraries will be switching from the old interface to this new, more streamlined, interface on Friday, October 28th. To view RefWorks 2.0 before UTB Libraries officially migrates, click on RefWorks from our Databases A-Z list and select "RefWorks 2.0" from the top right-hand corner.

For those who may be unfamiliar with this database, RefWorks is an online research management, writing and collaboration tool that enables users to store, manage, and output bibliographic references from various sources, including online article databases. To use RefWorks, users must first sign up for an account by clicking "Sign up for an individual account" on the main page of this database. Your individual account will never expire as long as you are a student, faculty or staff member of the University of Texas at Brownsville.

To learn how to use our RefWorks database, our Instruction Librarian, Joel Chirinos, will be conducting free RefWorks classes starting November 2nd. To register for these free classes, please click here. Also, for quick videos on how to use the new RefWorks 2.0 interface, visit the RefWorks YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/proquestrefworks. To obtain a PDF tutorial on how to make the most of the RefWorks 2.0 database, please click here and select "Attachments" under the RefWorks 2.0 Quick Start Guide.
