Program Requirements
Who is eligible for CAMP?
To be eligible to participate in CAMP, students must be one of the following:
- Migrant: a farm worker whose employment requires travel that prevents them from returning to his or her home within the same day
- Seasonal Farm Worker: a farm worker who, within the last 24 months has been employed for at least 75 days of farm work and whose primary employment has been in farm work on a temporary or seasonal basis
- OR
- An immediate family member: Immediate family member of a migrant or seasonal farm worker as defined above
- OR
- Participated or were eligible to participate in Workforce Investment Act (WIA)
- OR
- Participated in a Migrant Education Program (MEP); Students can provide a Certificate of Eligibility (COE)
Students must also:
- Be U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to UTB
- Enroll as a full-time student (minimum of 12 credit hours per semester)
