UTB/TSC Career Services offers a variety of programs and services for students and alumni seeking to sharpen their employability skills. As well as for employers seeking to hire UTB/TSC students and graduates.
UTB/TSC Career Services has created the Scorpion Career Connection system that will facilitate communication between students and potential employers.
Becoming a part of this network is very easy, and is free of charge. Take advantage of these services: post your resume, review job openings, review companies’ profiles, apply for jobs on-line, communicate with employers meeting your search criteria, conduct interview sessions on campus amongst others. Students will also have the opportunity to learn about job fairs and learn about the employers that will be in our campus recruiting.

Career Specialists are trained to answer career planning and job search questions and can assist you with accessing our print and computer resources. To speak with someone, you can visit the Counseling and Career Services office. Make an appointment or walk-in.
Receive assistance in exploring career goals and job search preparation which includes: resume writing, interviewing and job search strategies. Attend one of our workshops and meet with a Career Specialist; practice interviewing techniques and use self-assessment software programs to explore career options.
Employment Opportunities / Job Expos
In addition to the Scorpion Career Connection, we offer listings of part-time and full-time positions on campus and in the community. In addition, internships and summer opportunities are available. Various companies attend on campus job fairs/expos and conduct job and internship interviews each semester.
Resource Library and Computer Lab
Find up-to-date educational information, current labor market trends and occupational information through directories, catalogs, books, and brochures in our resource library.
We have computer terminals in our lab, which are available for online searching, for researching employment opportunities and for preparing your resume/cover letter. You may also use software programs to determine what careers match your interests.
Graduate School Opportunities
To help you explore various graduate schools, we offer graduate fairs, individual advising, and an extensive library of catalogs. Learn about admission tests, scholarships, writing personal statements and preparing for interviews.
