Program eligibility

To be eligible to apply for this grant, a student must:

• Be a 2013 graduate of a Texas Early College High School

• Have earned minimum of 60 college credit hours

• Be a Texas resident

• Be eligible for admission to UTB

• Apply to The University of Texas at Brownsville (UTB) for the fall 2013

• Plan to earn a baccalaureate degree from UTB

• Seek financial aid in grants and scholarships

• Have a cumulative GPA of 2.7 (on a 4 point system) for college hours or better

• Agree to participate in the UTB GTF Scholars Program
