Active Minds Club
Dates/Times: Monday 4:30-5:30  p.m. & Wednesdays 9-9:50 a.m.
Location: Cortez 213
Activity: Varies.
 
Yoga Class
Date: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Location: Cortez 213 or Cortez 224
Times: 12-1 p.m. or 5-6 p.m.
Activity: Comfortable attire. A mat will be provided. Yoga is a mind-body practice that combines stretching exercises, controlled breathing and relaxation. It can help reduce stress, lower blood pressure and improve heart function.
 
Tai Chi Class
Date: Fridays
Location: Cortez 224
Times: 5-6 p.m.
Activity: Comfortable attire. Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that, today, is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing.
 
HIV Prevention Program/Testing
Date: Every Thursday
Location: Cortez 237
Time: 9:30 am – 11:30 am 
Activity: Free HIV testing, same day results and confidential.
 
Busy Moms Group
Date: Every Thursday
Location: Cortez 213
Time: 12-1 p.m.
Activity: The group will focus on everything that is important to busy moms, including stress management, relaxation, time management, wellness, and parenting. Relationship status doesn't matter. Special Projects

Based on student interest and need, Student Health Services, hosts a variety of special projects. These special projects each have a different schedule from meeting only once to meeting on a scheduled basis throughout the semester.  

United Blood Services
