Student Health Services Event Calendar Spring 2013
- Yoga
- Date: Every Wednesday
- Location: Cortez 224
- Times: 12-1 p.m. or 5-6 p.m.
- Activity: Comfortable attire. Yoga mat will be provided.

- HIV Testing
- Date: Every Thursday
- Location: Cortez 237
Time: 9:30 am – 11:30 am
Activity: Free HIV testing, same day results and confidential.

- Busy Moms Group
- Date: Every Thursday
- Location: Cortez 213
- Time: 12-1 p.m.
- Activity: Support group for mothers to interact and to help with time management, coping skills and other important topics. Relationship status doesn't matter. Student, staff, faculty are welcomed and lunch will be provided. Please RSVP 24 hrs. in advance with Sandra Rubio, LCSW.

- Active Minds Club
- Dates/Times: Monday 4:30-5:30 p.m. and Wednesdays 9-9:50 a.m.

- Activity: Varies.
Special Projects
Based on student interest and need, Student Health Services, hosts a variety of special projects. These special projects each have a different schedule from meeting only once to meeting on a scheduled basis throughout the semester.
United Blood Services
Blood donors are always needed. Schedule an appointment with Student Health Services at (956) 882-7643. One donation saves three lives. For more information on blood donation check out: http://www.unitedbloodservices.org
Workshop for Busy Moms
The group will meet at Student Health Services, Mental Health Group Room Cortez Hall 213. The group will focus on everything that is important to busy moms, including stress management, relaxation, time management, wellness, and parenting.
