The Academic Advising Center empowers and encourages students to take charge of their educational plans through collaborative efforts among students, advisors, and faculty. Academic Advisors are committed to engaging students in developing educational, career, and life goals.
The Academic Advising Center:

• Provides personalized, developmental academic advising;
• Facilitates a successful transition to the institution;

The Disability Services Office ensures that students with disabilities have equal access to all university programs and activities and to help foster a supportive and inclusive educational environment by promoting disability awareness. Services include:

The Office of Financial Aid provides financial assistance to eligible students, who without such aid would be unable to attend college. Students must apply for financial assistance every year, as early as February for the following fall semester. Parents and students are invited to visit our office to obtain information about the application process. Financial assistance for eligible students is available in the form of grants, work-study, loans, scholarship and veterans’ benefits.

Learning Enrichment is an academic component of University College that provides small group and one-on-one tutorial services for currently enrolled students. Our mission is to help students become academically successful in order to achieve their academic and professional Learning Enrichment offers the following tutoring services: goals.

• Assistance with writing in all courses
• Tutoring in math at all levels
• Online tutoring for College Algebra
• Assistance with reading comprehension, study strategies, note-taking skills, and test-taking strategies for all courses
• Supplemental instruction for difficult courses
• COMPASS workshops and test preparation

The ASPIRE program provides opportunities for academic development, with information on basic college requirements, and motivates students toward the successful completion of their postsecondary education. Student must apply to qualify. Some services provided include:

• Mentoring
