The University of Texas at Brownsville/Texas Southmost College (UTB/TSC) is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. UTB/TSC course offerings are approved by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, Texas College and University System, and the Texas Education Agency.

program accreditation

The UTB-TSC Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program has received accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) and the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JRC-DMS).
