Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Medical Laboratory Technology Program at the University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College to respond to the needs of the community by educating students to perform a wide variety of clinical laboratory procedures and prepare these students to pass the national registry exam and perform competently as a medical laboratory technician upon graduation.
