PROGRAM Goals

  • Maintain curriculum standards as outlined by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) to prepare students to complete successfully the BRPT examination and be competent polysomnographic technologists.

  • Maintain Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accreditation standards

  • Expand the polysomnography workforce through presentation of information about this profession to individuals in the allied-health and medical fields

  • Implement program-evaluation and improvement processes to reflect the most current standards of polysomnography health care
