CALL FOR PROPOSALS

2012 Service Learning Exhibition

Eligible participants: Faculty and students who have participated in Service Learning at UTB and TSC are invited to present their work. This is a cross- disciplinary exhibit and presentations are welcome in any area involved in service learning. The exhibit is an excellent forum for faculty to share their service learning projects with the university community and for students to develop their presentation skills.

Format: On the day of the exhibit, the authors will present their service learning project to groups or individuals through a poster presentation, performance, pictures, displays or video.

Proposals: Authors are invited to submit a proposal through the online submission form by November 21, 2012 Completed proposals should include:

• Title of project
• 200-300 word abstract
• Name of the presenter(s)
• Collaborating authors/mentors
• Community partners
• Sources of funding
• Level (undergraduate student, graduate student or faculty)
• College and department
• Email address
• Phone number

All abstracts will be reviewed and acceptance notification will be sent out by November 26, 2012.
