George Truan Memorial Visual Art Scholarship
The George Truan Memorial Visual Scholarship is a department financial-aid scholarship given to lower division students who are art majors and art minors. The award varies between $250 and $500 per semester, dependent on funding availability. Students can apply directly to the department, through the Financial Aid Office, or by contacting the chair of the George Truan Memorial Visual Art Scholarship committee.
Consideration will be given to students who maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA, demonstrate financial need and are incoming freshman. Faculty will make recommendations to the Department of Fine Arts chairperson. A student can reapply for the scholarship, but must meet the requirements.
