Biography:
Dr. William C. Davis holds an Ed.D. Degree from Texas A&M, Commerce. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has won numerous awards for outstanding teaching, including the Chancellor’s Council Teaching Excellence Award in 2009. He has taught introduction to psychology, statistics, personality theory, industrial/organizational psychology and other courses at UTB-TSC for over 35 years.
He has been an active member of the university community, serving on many committees, the UT Chancellor’s Faculty Advisory Council, and as president of the Academic Senate. He was on the state regional review panel when Texas implemented its first standardized higher education test, the TASP, in 1989.
Dr. Davis loves travel and has led student groups into Mexico and Ireland. He is an avid backpacker and motorcycle rider and has also volunteered with emergency services and firefighting organizations.
