Ms. Amy Frazier
Amy Frazier, a tenured-faculty professor, has an MA in English and has taught at UTB/TSC since 2000. She has presented numerous scholarly papers at conferences, and a historical paper she co-wrote with her father, Luciano Sierra, about their ancestors was published this year in Dr. Milo Kearney’s most recent history book of the Rio Grande Valley.
In 2009, she received an Exceptional Merit teaching award. Currently, she is writing short stories to bind together into one book that she expects to have published about her life in Holland as a child. All of her short stories have been accepted for presentation at numerous conferences. She enjoys traveling with her daughter, Catherine, to all the countries in Europe, and she plans to visit Japan with her daughter as a quinceanera gift for her. They look forward to experience the Japanese culture and visit Yokohama, a place Amy lived as an adolescent.
