Sally Trenfield holds an M.M.E. from the University of North Texas and a B.M.E. in Music Education from Indiana University. She has Kodaly training and is a certified Orff Levels instructor. Trenfield has been the recipient of an AOSA Gunild Keetman Grant to attend the International Orff Course in Santander, Spain. An active national clinician for Orff workshops, she presents at AOSA and the Texas Music Educators Association conferences. In addition, Trenfield serves as an accompanist for UIL contests, vocal competitions, student recitals, community theatre and church services. Trenfield is the undergraduate academic advisor for music majors and teaches music education courses. She is also the director of the Orff Certification Program (which began in 2004) and the University Children's Choir with the UTB/TSC Music Academy.
