MASTER TECHNOLOGY TEACHER (MTT) COURSES
In the MTT program, you will have an opportunity to collaborate and learn with others online in virtual classrooms using both synchronous and asynchronous tools.

EDTC 6340 – Application of Advanced Technologies in the PK-12 Classroom
EDTC 6341 – Student-Centered Learning Using Technology
EDTC 6342 – Technology Leadership
EDTC 6343 – MTT Practicum
EDTC 6340 – Applications of Advanced Technologies in the PK-12 Classroom (UT Brownsville): Course emphasizes the skills required of the Master Teacher of Technology certification including applications of: multimedia, web-based materials, desktop publishing, streaming media, and media currently used in scientifically based research of instructional technology applications in PK – 12 classrooms. EDTC 6341 – Student Centered Learning Using Technology (UT Brownsville): This course provides the Master Technology Teacher (MTT) with the skills and conceptual knowledge for instructional design and development of student-centered learning activities in the K—12 classroom. The course also addresses critical issues in this instructional design and development process, including effective modifications of instruction that uses advanced technologies for special needs students, and mentoring other faculty members. EDTC 6342 – Technology Leadership (UT Brownsville): Techniques, strategies, resources, and tools for designing, developing, implementing and evaluating critical aspects of leadership in instructional technology issues in K—12 schools and classrooms will be addressed. Lec. 3, Cr. 3.
EDTC 6343 – MTT Practicum (UT Brownsville): This is the capstone experience for the Master Teacher of Technology certification. Students will combine skills and concepts to generate a comprehensive solution to a campus wide, or district wide instructional issue whose solution centers upon exemplary uses of instructional technologies.
