Area of Specialty and Responsibility:

Changing teachers/instructors beliefs (attitudes, social, control) toward working with people who have disabilities in schools, athletics, and community settings. Increasing the knowledge (class management techniques, equipment ideas, instruction), training opportunities (certifications, workshops, in-services), and beliefs of adapted aquatic instructors. Implementing health education programs for at-risk children in rural communities.
