Undergraduate Curriculum Committee
The COE Undergraduate Curriculum Committee is charged to review and recommend policies related to teacher preparation and undergraduate programs, curriculum, and students.
The Committee Membership shall be made up of one faculty member from each Department of the College of Education and the COE Assistant Dean, who will be the chair of the Committee.
Undergraduate Curriculum Committee Duties and Responsibilities
The committee shall review undergraduate curriculum actions and recommend to the Vice President for Academic Affairs
- all new course and academic program proposals;
- revisions to existing programs;
- matters related to the general education program and other University-wide programs; and
- matters related to the improvement of all academic programs. Committee recommendations shall be forwarded to the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs for appropriate administrative review and action.
The committee’s minutes shall be made available to the academic community.
