Research Interest:

Synthesis and characterization of metal oxide nanostructures (nanowires, nanorods and nanoparticles) using chemical vapor deposition techniques;

Hydrolytic and non-hydrolytic synthesis of novel nanostructures and their application in green chemistry;

Development of metal oxide nanorods for the use in polymer/metal oxide composite solar cells;

Separation of organic and inorganic pollutants from water using magnetic filtration;

Novel routes for the preparation of Magnetic Activated Carbon (MAC) and its efficiency in the remediation of arsenic and heavy metals from water.
