Please join family, friends, coworkers, students and all who loved and revered Dr. Luis Colom for a special naming ceremony. August 22, 2014 - 11:00am

Luis V. Colom, M.D., Ph.D., was Vice President of the Division of Research and Dean of the College of Nursing and Dean of the College of Biomedical Sciences and Health Professions. He lost his battle with cancer on Thursday, March 27, 2014. His department’s success created the need for even more research labs; in 2009 he wrote the federal grant to seek additional funding for what eventually became Biomedical Sciences and Health Professions Building II. This building will now bear his name.
