Foundation Relations

The Foundation Relations office works closely with faculty and administration to match the needs of the university with the philanthropic goals of foundations and some of our major areas of funding requests include: 

  • STEMS programs
  • Math and Science Academy
  • Early Childhood Education
  • Diabetes/obesity research
  • University College

The University has been selected to participate in national programs, such as, Achieving the Dream, UTeach planning grant, and a community planning grant with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation called Partners for Postsecondary Success with Brownsville partners.
