Student Affairs
Getting Involved
The student services provided
through the Division of Student
Affairs enhances the student’s
learning environment and help
improve retention
and increase graduation rates.
Student Affairs works to expand
our student’s learning experience
outside the classroom with
student activities, organizations,
health and counseling, campus
recreation, student government,
disability services and more.
The Division of Student Affairs
offers many programs that require
additional funding for their
success. For instance UTB/TSC's
Ambassador leadership development
program gives students
the opportunity to:
- Develop leadership skills
through experiential learning
- Take part in peer mentoring
- Engage with community members,
politicians, and other notable
visitors to our campus
Other student programs require
private funding to be able to
carry out thier mission. Additional
funding helps to:
- Support the Chess Team with
travel expenses and student scholarships
- Provide student opportunities for off-campus conferencing
- Offer on-campus student leadership conferences
- Enhance
leadership through a distinguished
student lecture series
