​Cutover Schedule for Human Resources and Financial Transactions

For the last three years, the administrative units in Business Affairs and ITS have been diligently working on the PeopleSoft Implementation Project. The project, which involves six of the UT academic campuses and system administration, will replace Datatel and provide one common platform for human resources and financial processes and information once completed. The project is scheduled to go-live on May 1, 2014.

In order to prepare our accounts and data for migration from Datatel to PeopleSoft, transactions managed via Datatel must cease at a certain point in April. This will allow back office personnel sufficient time to complete processes and clean data for conversion.  To that end, we developed and distributed a Cutover Schedule earlier this year with the deadline for transactions.

This communication is to remind you that the first deadline is coming up this week. Please refer to the Cutover Schedule and make a note of all relevant deadlines for your area. We ask that you plan accordingly and begin processing transactions with ample time before each deadline. Please remember to include the necessary time to obtain all approvals. 

Exceptions to these deadlines will be highly restrictive and will require division head approval. The restriction is necessary in order to meet UT System Project implementation deadlines.
