Emergency Loan
Welcome to the Emergency Loan website!
In order to qualify for an Emergency Loan, students must meet the following requirements:
If you are a first time freshman, the GPA and completion rate requirements will not apply for the first semester of attendance.
Application Timeline for
Emergency Loans May/Summer 2009*
May
Half of the tuition and fees are required for the emergency loan for the May session.
Application: May 12, 2009
Emergency loan payment deadline for May session: June 18, 2009
Summer I*
Early registration: May 28 - 29
Late registration: June 8 - 9
Emergency loan payment deadline for Summer I: July 8, 2009
Summer II*
Early registration: July 2 - July 3
Late registration: July 14 - July 15
Emergency loan payment deadline for Summer II: August 14, 2009
* Application available at 9:00 a.m. of first date and closed at 5:00 p.m. of last date.
Emergency Loans are now available through Scorpion Online!
Log in to Scorpion Online using your User Id and Password; click on Students and click on Emergency and Installment loans. To verify completion rate and grade point average, click on Satisfactory Academic Progress (S.A.P.)

* Completion rate is determined by dividing number of semester credit hours (SCH) completed by the number of semester credit hours attempted.
SCH completed / SCH attempted = completion rate
Example:
A student completes 21 SCHs of the 24 SCHs attempted (21/24 = .875). The completion rate for this student is 87.5%
