Emergency Preparedness
With tragic incidents such as 9-11, Hurricane Katrina, and the recent Virginia Tech incident, we not only as an institution, but as individuals, should be prepared to handle an emergency to the best of our abilities.
Below are some links that will help you prepare in case of an emergency on campus.
Training available for UTB/TSC Employees
- American Red Cross Training (CPR, First Aid):
Visit the Human Resources Training calendar for available dates and times.
- Emergency Response Team:
Ask your supervisor to see if your area already has an assigned member.
- Fire Warden:

- Fire Warden Online Training:
To receive credit for this training, you must first contact Env. Health and Safety to make arrangements.
- Self-Defense Course:
