UT TOUCH Basics

UT TOUCH is a convenient, secure enrollment system that allows you to view or change your benefit selections on the Internet during the Annual Enrollment Period:  July 1 – 31.  Selections made during July will be effective September 1.  On or before July 1, you will receive Your UT Benefits Enrollment Options letter by email with important information about your benefits from The University of Texas System Office of Employee Benefits.   Employees without a valid email address will receive a letter in the mail. 

Your UT Benefits Enrollment Options letter will contain your current coverage information, your benefit options for the new plan year, a link to the UT Touch Enrollment System, and a link to your Annual Enrollment Benefits Packet.  Your UT Benefits Enrollment Options letter will also contain a four-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) you can use to logon to UT Touch. 

Please follow the instructions below to make your benefit selections on UT Touch.

Step 1: Go to the UT Touch website: www.utsystem.edu/UTTOUCH
 
Step 2: Click on the Login Using My: Benefits ID (BID) and PIN button on the right side of the screen.  You can also use your Social Security number or Employee ID and PIN to login to UT Touch.
 
Step 3:  Enter your Benefits ID (BID) and your four-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) from your UT Benefits Enrollment Options letter and click on Login. (If you lose or can’t remember your PIN, you can submit your request to receive the same or a new PIN on the same screen.)
 
Step 4:  You may update your personal preferences or add/remove dependents on this screen;
OR
 
Step 5: Click on the red Go to Benefits Enrollment button to view your current coverage options and make your benefit selections.
 
Step 6: Once you have made your selections, click on the red Record My Selections button to complete the enrollment process.  If you have successfully made your selections on UT Touch, you will receive a Confirmation of Your UT Benefits Enrollment letter by email within two days.  Employees without a valid email address will receive a letter in the mail within two weeks.
  
Step 7: You can print a copy of your Confirmation of Your UT Benefits Enrollment statement or view your future coverage information effective September 1, 2008 on the Benefits Summary Page of UT Touch.
  
Step 8: When you finish viewing your information online, please do not forget to Logout.
    
    
IMPORTANT REMINDER:  You will need your four-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) to login to UT Touch.  If you lose or can’t remember your PIN, follow Step 1 & 2 above and click on Forgot PIN/Change PIN.

For Current UT Flex participants: You must re-enroll on UT Touch in July to participate in the plan in the upcoming year: September 1, 2008-August 31, 2009.  If you are a debit card user, you must also re-select the debit card option if you wish to continue to use the card in the upcoming year.
