The following are Wellness Sessions offered free of charge to UTB Employees for Spring 2011*.
Smoking/Tobacco Cessation Resources
In the January 2012 Office of Employee Benefits (OEB) Newsletter “A Matter of Health”, the OEB will be highlighting the enhancements of our Smoking/Tobacco Cessation resources we have available, which include Free Smoking/Tobacco Cessation Counseling and 100% coverage of Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT), to our UT SELECT Medical Plan Members that started in FY12. Cardio and Strength Conditioning
Tuesdays and Thursdays
5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
REK 1.532 (Multi-Studio)
This is an entry level class that will consists of cardio activities, strength building through the use of hand weights and concentration workouts on muscle groups like the abdominals and legs.
REK membership is not required to participate.

Group Fitness Classes
Campus Recreation continues to offer free Group Fitness classes for the Spring semester. Classes include kickboxing, yoga, aqua fit and many more! The schedule listing and description are available at http://www.utb.edu/sa/campusrec. REK membership is required.
Fitness Fridays
UTB/TSC employees interested in trying out the REK Center can do so free of charge every Friday. REK hours on Fridays are from 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Take advantage of the weight room, cardio machines, pool and basketball courts.
A valid employee ID is required.
