Wellness Activites and SESSIONS
FOR UTB/TSC Employees

  
The following are Wellness Sessions offered free of charge to UTB/TSC Employees beginning September 14, 2009*.

Mondays & Wednesdays
5:15 - 6:15 p.m.

Exercise sessions will consists of the combination of cardio training, strength conditioning and basic dance movement activities at the beginner level that will help you improve fitness and lower body fat. Open to UTB/TSC employees participating in the “Get Moving” campus campaign for wellness. REK membership is not required to participate.

 Taijutsu Bujinkan Taijutsu
Tuesdays and Thursdays
5:15 - 6:15 p.m.

This is a Japanese martial art system designed for self-defense. Classes are held in a relaxed and non-competitive atmosphere and will be a chance for people at all fitness levels to enjoy learning self defense skills while starting to "Get Moving."  No experience necessary and beginners are welcome. REK membership is not required to participate.

This session will focus on key things you will need to do before beginning an exercise program.  We will also be discussing the Get Moving Program. Helpful hints for basic to intermediate walking programs will be covered to get you on the way to a healthier lifestyle.
