Hurricane Dean Advisory
Posted: 8/20/07 at 1:55 p.m.
It is business as usual but keep an eye on Hurricane Dean.
Recent weather models are projecting Hurricane Dean is headed further south into Mexico and away from the Valley.
However, it is important to keep an eye out should the storm change its course.
We will continue to monitor the movement of Hurricane Dean and will keep you informed of any changes.
We ask that you continue to keep an eye on Dean’s progress and take necessary precautions that may be needed.
Currently, Hurricane Dean is headed for the Yucatan Peninsula and is still an extremely dangerous storm.
Dean is a category four hurricane and has the potential to reach category five within the next 24 hours.
Our next advisory will be issued at 4:00 p.m., Monday, August 20.
