Hurricane Dean Advisory
Posted: 8/20/07 at 4:55 p.m.
Please keep an eye on Hurricane Dean.
Hurricane Dean is expected to make landfall on the Yucatan peninsula very early Tuesday morning.
Dean is an extremely dangerous storm and could reach category 5 before landfall.
The storm is moving toward the west and a westward or west - northwest ward motion is expected over the next 24 hours.
But you can never predict what a hurricane will do so it important to continue to monitor weather reports should Dean change its course once its enters the Gulf of Mexico.
We will continue to monitor the movement of Hurricane Dean and will keep you informed of any changes.
Our next advisory will be issued Tuesday morning, August 21.
