Hurricane Dean Advisory
Posted: 8/21/07 at 9:20 a.m.
Stay informed and keep an eye on Hurricane Dean
Hurricane Dean is hitting the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico.
Dean is moving toward the west northwest with maximum sustained winds of 125 mph.
Dean is now a category three hurricane and is expected to weaken as it crosses the Yucatan Peninsula but it is expected to still be a hurricane when it reaches the Bay of Campeche.
You can never predict what a hurricane will do so it is important to continue to listen to weather reports should Dean change course once it enters the Gulf of Mexico.
We will continue to monitor the movement of Hurricane Dean and will keep you informed of any changes.
