PARKING

Campus Police is located in the Cavalry Building and is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

Every non-UTB/TSC vehicle brought onto campus by visitors, students, staff or faculty needs a parking permit.

THE PERMIT

The permit allows access to park on a UTB/TSC parking lot. It does not guarantee a parking space.

  1. First requirement is vehicle information: Current License plate, make, model, year, and color.
  2. Students need to bring two picture IDs. UTB/TSC ID and [Drivers License or Texas ID].
  3. Statement of Charges. Make sure that $20.00 in parking fees is marked on the statement. If it is not marked then you have not paid for a parking permit. Students also need to verify and correct (if necessary) the address printed on the statement at Enrollment Office T-105.
  4. Staff and Faculty, if you are picking up a semester permit, you need to bring $20.00 cash or check or receipt from the Business Office to Campus Police. If you are also a student and the permit was paid with your tuition Step 3 instead of Step 4 applies to you.
  5. The most important thing you need to do, is to come and pickup the permit to place in the vehicle. If you paid for a permit but, did not pick it up, it does not mean that you are allowed to bring a vehicle to campus.

A reminder: Vehicles without a visible permit will be fined. The permit has to hang facing forward from the rearview mirror. If you do not have a mirror you need to attach the permit to the front window at the same location the mirror should be placed.

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CORRECTLY DISPLAY
THE PERMIT EVERY TIME YOU BRING A VEHICLE TO CAMPUS

APPEALS OF CITATIONS
