Advisory Notice Regarding Golf Carts
March 12, 2009 - 5:08 p.m.

Please be aware that there have been two incidents this week involving missing golf carts from campus. 

We were able to recover one of them but it had been heavily damaged.  The golf cart sustained damage to its front wheel axles and the ignition switch had been broken.

The recovered golf cart was found at Porter High School. One witness stated that he saw the golf cart being driven on International Boulevard on March 11, at approximately 11:30 p.m.

The two incidents are currently under investigation by Campus Police. 

If you need suggestions on how to properly secure your golf cart or if you see any suspicious activities, please contact Campus Police at (956) 882-8232.
