Texas Purchasing and Support Services (TPASS) manages contracts for state entities, such as the University. The University may make purchases directly from vendors with TPASS contracts. Purchasing through these vendors satisfies any requirement or state law relating to competitive bids or proposals.
The website listing the vendors also provides training resources for purchasers and vendors. Vendors can learn about obtaining HUB certification. HUB certification is not a requirement to do business with the University; however, all state agencies and universities are required to demonstrate a "good faith effort" to utilize HUB-certified vendors.
