About Us

The Continuing Education Department was established to provide programs and services to all of the communities in Cameron and Willacy Counties. Continuing Education serves the region with approximately 4,000 registrations and enrollments annually in a wide array of training disciplines.

The University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College, offers both credit and non-credit programs designed to assist individuals wanting to better prepare themselves for their careers and/or personal skills. Some of the available programs are customized training for business and industry, Certification programs such as computer software, law enforcement, medical/health occupations, and students can also build their English language skills in the Language Institute.
