Scorpion Online
After your application is processed, you will receive notification of your admissions along with other information that will allow you to use the Scorpion Online system. Through Scorpion Online, you will have access to course registration and other important information related to admissions, testing and financial aid.
Financial Aid
Make sure you complete the Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) early to be considered aid. Make sure to submit the Office of Financial Assistance all documents requested as soon as possible. The priority deadline for fall is March.
Student Housing
Students planning to live on campus must complete a housing application. Highlighting living and learning, the Village at Fort Brown provides students with facilities and services that support their educational experience both in and out of the classroom.. All first time applicants must remit a $20.00 housing application fee and a $200.00 deposit to the Business office before the housing application can be accepted. Housing applications are available online.
Academic Calendar
It is important to become familiar with the academic calendar and deadlines such as registration payment, first class day, add/drop dates, etc. The academic calendar can be accessed via the UTB/TSC website.
Keep biographical information up-to-date
Keep your contact information such as telephone number, mailing and email address with the University up-to-date. Biographical changes to address and name should be promptly reported to the Office of Admissions. Important notices regarding important events and deadlines are sent out several times every semester. Check your email often.
