The Academic Advising Center encourages students to work toward achieving their goals and maintaining scholastic progress throughout their education experience at the university. 

Academic advisors will assist students that encounter academic difficulties such as failing to meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).  The advisors will also inform the students of the institutions policies and procedures, provide information that can lead to academic success, and refer students to on-campus resources that can better assist these students.  It is of vital importance that students meet with their academic advisor at this time so they can be better prepare for academic success.
