Student Loan Deadlines:
Last day to apply for a Fall 2009 Loan: Friday, November 6, 2009 @ 5:00 p.m.
Last Loan Session for Fall 2009: Thursday, November 19, 2009 @ 2:30 p.m.
Last day to submit application through LBW*: Friday, November 27, 2009 @ 5:00 p.m.
Request for Professional Judgement Consideration-Statement of Changes in Financial Circumstances for 2009-2010:
Last day to submit request for 2009-2010: April 23, 2010
Financial Aid PRIORITY Deadlines:
Fall semester deadline: March 1
Insitutional Scholarship deadline: March 1
Spring semester deadline: October 1
Summer sessions deadline: March 17
The Financial Aid deadlines are considered priority deadlines for students to submit all required documents and receive eligible awards before registration payment deadline(s). Students completing the financial aid application and verification process after these deadlines, may receive financial aid consideration during the semester, but must be prepared to pay for classes with personal funds by the registration payment deadline(s). Limited payment alternatives are available through the Business Office, including emergency loans and installment plans. For this reason, students are encouraged to complete application(s) for financial aid consideration as early as January 1st each calendar year for the upcoming Fall semester.
State Aid Deadlines:
Priority deadline for Initial consideration: March 1
Final deadline for Renewal consideration: October 1
Since we do not receive sufficient funding to consider all eligible State Aid applicants, students are strongly encouraged to make alternate payment arrangements for registration costs without expectation of receiving award(s). If funds are available, students completing files on or before the priority deadline will automatically receive consideration.
Summer 2010 Priority Deadlines (Special Request Form Requirement)
To request financial aid for summer sessions, students must complete a separate Summer Request form available on the FA Online Forms website: http://www.utb.edu/em/fa/Pages/FAOnlineForms.aspx.
The form will be available online on February 1, 2010 - June 20, 2010. Deadlines for the Summer Request Student Loans, required Entrance Counseling deadlines and deadline to complete the online process for Loans by WEB will have earlier deadlines. These deadlines will be posted in early Spring 2010.
