Student Loan Deadlines:

Last day to apply for a Fall 2008 Loan:            Wednesday, November 12 @ 5:00 p.m.

Last Loan Session for Fall 2008:                     Tuesday, November 18

Last day to submit application through LBW:   Friday, November 21 @ 5:00 p.m.

 

Financial Assistance Priority Deadlines:

Spring semester deadline:          October 1

Summer sessions  deadline*:     March 17

Priority Fall semester deadline:    March 1

Insitutional Scholarship deadline: March 1

State Aid Application deadline:    March 1

The Financial Assistance Deadlines are considered priority deadlines for the designated semesters.  Files completed by these deadlines with all required documents provided should have financial aid awards by the payment deadline for that semester.  Students can continue to apply for financial aid and complete their files after these deadlines; however, students must be prepared to pay for their classes with personal funds by the payment deadline. For this reason, students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA application and complete verification requirements early.  Students can complete the FAFSA application as early as January 1st each calendar year for enrollment in the following Fall semester. Emergency loans through the Business Office are available, but very limited.

* To request financial aid for the summer, students must complete a separate Summer Request form available on the Onlline Forms website: http://www.utb.edu/em/fa/Pages/FAOnlineForms.aspx.  Funds for summer enrollment are limited.
