The program will support veterans' participation through:

• Pre/post assessment testing in math, reading, and writing
• Identification of career goals
• Identification of personal and educational barriers
• Identification of academic strengths and academic needs
• Assistance with securing a high school diploma or GED certificate
• Supportive services needed to obtain a high school diploma or GED certificate
• College admissions and course selection
• Financial aid applications
• VA Benefits application process
• Academic and career advisement based on assessment needs
• Instructional support necessary for success in a postsecondary program of study
• Tutorial support
• Exposure to cultural events, academic programs, and other educational activities
• Activities designed to acquaint veterans participating in the program with the range of career options available to them
