Cable TV
The campus is given a main Cable TV connection from the local cable company which is then distributed to the campus on rotting copper infrastructure. Because of the dire state of the copper infrastructure the signal to most of the buildings is unusable. The cost of revamping the copper infrastructure is staggering. ITNet operation has designed "CATV over fiber" infrastructure for distributing the CATV signal to different buildings. ITNet is in the process of implementing the design (pending funds).
