A Launch Party is scheduled at 5:30 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2013, at the Brownsville Museum of Fine Arts located at 660 E. Ringgold St.

Moody and Mejia partnered in April 2013 bringing South Texas a unique concept of a lifestyle magazine.

“We are very excited to launch a unique publication in South Texas,” said Moody. “My business partner, Josh, and I have dedicated so much time and energy in preparing for this upcoming issue of Arts and Entertainment.”

“The magazine will have several divisions such as Dining, Architecture, and Health and Wellness to name a few.”

The premiere issue features actress, model, and musician Cindy Vela of Brownsville. The magazine also features information on the upcoming exhibit of The President’s Photographer and an inside look at the Museum of South Texas History.

Readers can also view an exclusive look into Architecture and Dining with the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, Sacred Heart Church, The Original Oyster Bar, and Milano’s of Weslaco.

VIDA’s mission is to embrace the region’s unique character with a flair of luxury and style.

It will have a starting circulation of 5,000. Distribution points will include 250 locations across South Texas. This will include the Valley’s leading spa’s, retail boutiques, medical offices, legal offices, real estate offices, hotels, and restaurants. The first issue is currently in circulation across South Texas.
