Disney Business Magic comes to UTB/TSC

BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS – AUGUST 12, 2008 – The University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College will be host of the Disney Institute’s presentation of The Disney Experience from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 10, in the Gran Salon of the Student Union.
The seminar is open to the public and takes a look at the “Business Behind the Magic” that has made the Disney name synonymous with brand success.
The program will address the four core topics of the “The Disney Keys to Excellence:” leadership, management, service and loyalty. Program leaders will demonstrate how increased leadership, management communication and the development of a service philosophy are instrumental in helping build and sustain the brand equity and financial health of a business.
Other topics include “Key Practices and Principles in Building and Sustaining Staff,” “Ways to Improve an Organization’s Culture” and “Principles for Service Excellence.”
The cost for the one-day program, including lunch, is $390. Groups of five can add a sixth person free of charge for a total of $1,950.
