The Arts Center campaign receives donation from Richard and Elka Jaross
BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS – NOVEMBER 20, 2009 – Community leaders Richard and Elka Jaross of Brownsville have given a significant gift for The Arts Center at The University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College. The gift was presented and approved at the Texas Southmost College Board of Trustees meeting in the Gorgas Board Room on Thursday, November 19.
The TSC Board accepted the gift, which will name Box E “The Elka and Richard Jaross Box.” The 107-square-foot box is located on the right side of the first floor and includes four movable chairs.
