We've just received word that tomorrow, March 13, the full Texas Senate will consider SB24 the Senate counterpart to HB1000 that would authorize the merger of UT Brownsville and UT Pan American and transform the Regional Academic Health Center into a medical school that would also become part of the new South Texas university.
