The mission of the UTB/TSC Office of Information Security (OIS) is to provide proactive security analysis to reduce risk and protect information resources of the University. OIS develops security procedures and policies that incorporate industry best practice and standards. OIS creates and maintains a comprehensive training program to ingrain information security awareness into the university environment. OIS works in partnership with the various information technology departments, internal auditors, corporate compliance and information security administrators from each school and college to meet regulatory compliance requirements and to support the university's mission and goals.
