Limited Submission Programs
Limited submission programs are those for which funding agencies restrict the number of nominations or proposals a university may submit for consideration for an award.
The University of Texas at Brownsville must therefore internally screen all eligible and interested nominees to determine which will represent the university in these competitions.

Below is a list of limited submission programs in which UTB currently competes or has an interest in competing. Included are deadlines for internal OSP review, final deadlines of
the awarding agency, and other pertinent information. Click on the program name in each row to go to a summary of the program.
Please note: This list is not exclusive or exhaustive, since new programs are developed and existing programs change. Anyone who wishes to apply to
a limited submission RFP that is not posted on our website should contact OSP immediately. OSP will review the guidelines, establish an appropriate internal
review date, and post the RFP to the website.
Every effort will be made to maintain current and accurate information within this list; however, the awarding agency’s posted information remains the final authority.
Pre-Proposal Documentation
Documents required by OSP are listed in the Procedures for Grant Applications with Limited Submissions, click here. Requirements for internal review will mirror the
requirements of the awarding body.
Please note that the Office of Sponsored Programs will only accept pre-proposals that include all required documentation and are submitted to OSP by the posted deadline.
It is the responsibility of the researcher to ensure that all eligibility guidelines are met prior to submission for internal review.
