Posting Notice of Intent to Apply
It is recommended that faculty and staff posts a Notice of Intent to Apply (NOI) for External Funding by completing the NOI form on the Sponsored Programs website. In the case of competing application that fall under the Limited Submission criteria, the University Research Council or appointed representatives will review each proposal to determine which one best serves the university's strategic plan.
Limited Submission Programs
Limited submission programs are those for which funding agencies restrict the number of nominations or proposals a university may submit for consideration for an award. An internal screening process for all eligible and interested applicants assists UTB determine which proposal(s) will best represent the university in these competitions. Private Submissions
Applications to private sources (i.e. foundations, corporations, donors) are coordinated with Institutional Advancement. For further information on Private Submissions contact the office of Corporation and Foundation Relations.
